I frikkin hope you did..!!

Octopode of course..!!!

If not, get over there right now...!!!  heres the link

I got some of Lily's fab images this afternoon and they are sooooooo coooooooooooooooool..!!! I want them all, lmao.

She has very kindly given me permission to teach with her images and so, although I had tomorrows kids class all mapped out, I just had to scrap it and start again, lol.

Heres what the little cherubs will be doing instead. Methinks they will love it...!!!

The backgrounds are my Dylusion paints, the stamps are all from my Bits and Bats sheet, and the main images are from Lily's Halloween collage sheet. Now I'm not trying to make your minds up for you, but...

YOU NEEEEEEEEEEED THESE IMAGES AND YOU NEEEEEEED THEM NOW......

Okay message recieved I'm sure, lol.

Didn't we have a luvvly time....

Had a great day at The Stamp Magic show at the Doncaster Dome. The Resident Bit of Glamour, The Babe an I got up at some ungodly hour to get there and set up the stand and it was great to see you all. I spent the day demoing all my Dylusions range, inks, paints, downloads and stamps. I worked a lot in my large ledger, just prepping the pages ready for journaling.

I popped a tag made by Kate on this page.

closer view

I just love this page.

Can you see the original writing through all the layers?

Spiders are my new favourite thing, lol.

Talk about co-ordination. Matching ATC on matching tag on matching page.!!

Adding the white pain creates pastel layers.

Again, ATC's mounted onto a inky, painty, masked background.

A bit of steam punk and metal were called for here.

Love the faux bleach effect on the inks

A change of colour

Can you count all the layers.??

I bought a pack of cards from the charity stand next to us, and I just couldn't resist altering it..!

Ha ha, you just have to don't you..???

I shall keep you updated with their progress

I recieved a lovely email today from a male crafter, yes I did say male.!! His name is Sid and he loves my Dylusion paints. Check out some of his work HERE and HERE. Thanks for that Sid.

I love to see what you have all done with my products so drop me a link to you fabulous creations.

Which reminds me, I need to tell you about a fantastic new up and coming talent. She is only  a young chickie and she is British. Yayy lets here it for home grown talent.!!!! And what a talent she has, it won't be long before you are seeing her designs everywhere. Take a skip over to her Etsy site  The Octopode Factory and buy yourself some beaut collage sheets and quirky digital stamps ( durr, I still don't understand what they are, lmao ). My fave has got to be Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.  Well done Lily, can't wait to start creating with them.

Ok need to go put my head in the oven now as Leeds are losing 3 - 0 to Cardiff and The Babe is sobbing gently into his t-shirt..!!!

Enjoy xx

Oooooooh peeing my pants..!!!!

Well, how happy am I ..??? Not only do I lurve my new stamps, but it seems as if you all do as well. They are frikkin flying out the door. Yaaaaaaaaaaay.!!!!  A new order for replenishments is being written as we speak..!!!!  And thats without me really talking about them.

As you all know I am a red rubber disciple (not that kind of rubber!!), lol. So for me they had to be rubber, and they had to be mounted onto EZmount. I can't be bothered to mount them myself and I figured neither could you. As far as I am concerned life is too short to stuff a mushroom or mount your own rubber.!!!  They are incredibly well trimmed which is also another pet hate of mine. They come on a 7 x 81/2 in laminate index card, with 2 holes in the top for your book rings.

I want to thank Ted, Michelle and all the team at Stampers Anonymous for manufacturing them for me. Yayyyyyy. xxx

So without further ado, let me introduce you....

They were all made with art journaling in mind, but can be used in many other forms of artwork. As you all know I love my art journaling and am always being asked how I do all the little touches that bring your pages to life, so I tried to think of the images I would want and voila!!! Here they are.

First up is - Around the Edge - bundles of borders for you, including the dreaded vines, lol.

Bits and Bats - all the little things that I need on the pages.

How does your Garden Grow - my quirky chicks and fill in flowers.

The long awaited - Right up your Street - create your own little village, town or Englishman's castle of dreams.

And now for my peculiar people. All of the figures have seperate heads so that they can be swapped around.

First is - Ruby Rainbow - Yes this is what my hair looks like when its long..!!! She comes equipped with umbrellas, parasols, wellies and the ubiquitous wings.

Tallulah Tripp - (yup, my hair at the moment, lol ), she comprises of wings, leaves and "I can't live without" corners.

Love struck Lucy - she wears her heart on her sleeve and her hats on her head.! She also has my signature circles (5 of course, lol.

And last but not least - Doolally Doris - with her own selection of hats, and my "can never have enough" toadstools.

So there's the new family for you. Which one will be your favourite..??

I wiull have loads of samples for you soon. but heres 2 from my ledger journal. Yes, the massive one.!!

the last one is a "work in Progress"......think that should be my middle name, lmao

Who sneaked in there first.!!!

So I got the new stamps home , set them out in the studio ready to play. There is nothing nicer than brand new, untouched, virgin stamps.!! Especially when they are mine, lol.  All of a sudden the door burst open and Our Maisie flew through on a surprise visit while her Mum was at the supermarket. She spotted the stamps, exclaiming.

" Mama, oooh oooh oooh I just need to plaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay"

And that was that, my new stamps were abducted from right under my very nose, lol.

And heres the results, a fine example of art, dont you think.??

Well, she gave them the Royal seal of approval for you all, but only after she had stamped each and everyone, lmao.

Had a great day today at the Art Journaling Regulars, who roadtested the stamps thoroughly.

The lovely Christine had donated me a pile of vintage knitting patterns, and so today's challenge for the ladies was to incorporate them in to their work. But the twist was whatever pose they chose they had to mimic it for 60 seconds without collapsing into giggles. Easier said than done.!!

Heres a few of my "knitted" works in progress. And yes this was my chosen pose.!!!!! lol.

I'm a wee bit concerned about this one.!! lol.

Most of our round robin art journals have made there way back, so Bezzie Su kindly photographed them and I will show you them a journal at a time, starting with mine.

It' nice to have them back, especially with such lovely work in there.  Those that got theirs back were over the moon with them, and it is sooooooo nice to have a little bit of everyon es work.

Last week The Babe and I went shopping and sort of fell into. !!!!!!!!!!!, the Dr Martens shop. Well, it would have been rude not to try anything on, wouldn,t it.?? lmao. Here's the result.

Yup, shiny new Dr Martens.  A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. !!

Enjoy xx
